BENEFITS
Advanced Training
Stevens Great offers a wide variety of training programs whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting out. We offer an apprenticeship program, trend classes, continuing education for accreditation, and advanced training.
Why Apprentice?
- We give you a complete cosmetology education including training in subjects like color, skin and nails, with a heavy focus on haircutting. Color, skincare etc. will be done on mannequins, as Great Clips does not offer these services.
- You are always under the supervision of a licensed stylist, never working alone.
- Haircutting and perms will be on actual clients. You get to keep all your tips daily!
- You only need a high school diploma to get started
- You get paid for attending online school (WITC-approximately 4-6 hours a week). No school in summer but you’re still in the salon.
- You get paid for all your in salon time (must be full time per WI state law. 32+ hrs/wk)
- You pay your tuition and books each semester (approximately $500. We are able to do a loan if needed for this.)
- 2 year program (3712 hours) - upon completion you are a fully licensed cosmetologist in the state of WI

We are Brian and Jenn Stevens. We live in Mendota Heights, MN and have three boys, Elliott, Graham, and Patrick and a crazy dog named Ike. At our house we are obsessed with soccer, golf, and love it to be filled with music all the time.
